Why do I need a professional headshot?
If you are looking for job or if you are contacting people online, then you need a professional headshot. Nowadays, your first handshake is done online and it is important to make a good first impression to your target audience. A headshot taken by an amateur photographer will not have the same impact like the ones taken by a professional photographer. A professional photographer has the appropriate tools and experience to produce the right headshot that meets your needs.
How long is the headshot session?
There is no time limit on the headshot session. The typical session can last between and one and two hours depending on how many outfits you bring with you. By the end of the session, you will have plenty of images to choose from and I will help you narrow those images down to the best ones.
How many outfits should I bring with me?
Bring as many outfits as you need to the headshot session. It is recommended that you bring outfits that fits you well and are suitable for your work environment. Solid colors are usually best as patterns and busy prints will distract from your face. Bring clothes that complements your skin tones and avoid wearing white shirts or outfits with visible logos.
What happens after I book my session?
After you book the session online, I contact you before the session to talk about the kind of headshots you need. I will also email you a PDF file with instructions on how to prepare for your headshot session. During the session, I will coach you to get your best expressions. You will be able to change outfits. I will use different color backgrounds so you can have different options to choose from. After the shoot, we will sit down, go through the images and choose the ones you like the most. After that, I will retouch the images and deliver them to you via a privet online gallery.
How do I get my images? and When?
After you select the images that you want to retouch, I email you a link for the password protected online gallery where you can download your images. Retouching takes about five days. There is an expedited service if the images are needed sooner than five days. Contact me and I can let you know the cost and timeline of the expedited service.
