I was honored to be part of the team of photographers that contributed to the success of the 10000 free headshots initiative. Tony Taaffe, creator of the 10,000 Headshots initiative, is also a co-founder of Headshot Booker.
The reason Taaffe created 10,000 Headshots is because he remembers the difficulty his father had finding jobs. He knows that unemployment affects the whole family.
“Headshot Booker is in a unique position to provide out-of-work Americans with an important element of the job-search process – a great, professional headshot,” Taaffe said. “And thanks to our partners who share a similar vision, we will be able to help thousands of unemployed Americans put their best foot forward and help them get back to work.”
The event took place on Wednesday, July 22, I, representing Sam Headshots took complimentary professional headshots from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Tysons Galleria on the Brookfield Property with two other photographers. The event was a success and participants where very exited to get their corporate headshots instantly on their cellphones.
I was happy to be featured in an article in the Zebra magazine, our local publication in Alexandria, Virginia.
This event wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for the hard work of Tony Taaffe, Lauren Lieberman and so many others that have worked tirelessly on making this event a success.
